Transformation through running
While it is considered by some as merely a form of physical activity, serious runners consider running as a lifestyle.
Among the personalities who can attest to the transformative power of running is Adidas Runners Manila captain, Jules Aquino. He currently leads a community of runners and urban athletes committed to personal growth and friendship.
In a work-run session held last month—where Jules, along with another ambassador Christine Balaguer, took part in—the Adidas Ultraboost 19 was released. Described as an entirely reimagined and redesigned version of the brand’s iconic leading performance running shoe, UB19 is nine times lighter compared to the previous versions. Despite its lightweight, adidas guarantees equally high performance.
Nadine Lustre’s killer kicks
After having done all the outdoor adventures with any of the abovementioned shoe apparel, a quick change to a more casual footwear to suit the metro setting can be considered.
Tagged as the originator of chunky and funky sneakers since the early ‘90s, Skechers expands its best selling D’Lites heritage collection with the release of D’Lites 3.0, in collaboration with celebrity stylist Bang Pineda. The latest offering comes with an edgier and heftier silhouette, and an added height and a bolder look with a distinctively street vibe.
Nadine Lustre, the brand’s newest face, recently graced its In Style event. Considered as a fashion icon by many, Nadine slays her OOTD with Skechers’ varied styles and colorways to choose from.
